一、健保資格 Eligibility For NHI

(一)、健保為強制性社會保險，僑外生取得合法居留證明文件來臺就學，自合於投保資格之日起(居留滿6個月)，依法應參加全民健康保險。

National Health Insurance (NHI) is a compulsory social insurance. Foreign students who hold a valid residence certificate to study in Taiwan are legally required to join the National Health Insurance(NHI) after residing in Taiwan for at least six months.

(二)、投保資格規定如下：（詳可參閱在臺僑生、外籍生參加全民健康保險須知）

1. 有在校外工讀或實習者：自受僱之日起由雇主加保（不受居留滿6個月之規定所限）。
2. 沒有校外工讀或實習者：自領有居留證明文件後，在臺居留滿6個月之日起由學校加保：

• 在臺居留滿6個月指進入臺灣地區連續居住達6個月或曾出境1次且未逾30日，其實際居住期間扣除出境日數後，併計達 6 個月。
• 等待期間如離境超過30天或離境台灣2次(含)以上，皆須重新計算6個月。

Regulations: (Please read: Foreign Nationals who reside in Taiwan with an ARC)

1. Those who are working part-time or interning off-campus: must be enrolled in the NHI by employer from the first day of employment. (Don't need to reside in Taiwan for at least six months.)
2. Other foreign students: Ｗho hold a valid residence certificate must be enrolled in the NHI by school after completing six full months of residing in Taiwan.

• The students have continuously stayed in Taiwan for 6 months or leaving the country only once for no longer than 30 days. After deducting the number of days they leave, the actual period of residence in Taiwan could be calculated as six months.
• If the students leave Taiwan for twice or more than 30 days, it must be recalculated for 6 months.

►範例：以102學年度入學的大一同學為例，若102年9月14入台居留。

►For example, for first-year students who enrolled in the 2013 academic year, if they enter Taiwan and reside after September 14, 2013.

二、費用 Premium

學校會將健保費併入學雜費繳費單中，並於每學期預收6個月的健保費。

The school will incorporate the NHI premiums into the tuition payment slip and collect in advance for 6 months each semester.

(一)、一般僑外生：每月新台幣826元。

General students：NT$826 per month.

(二)、向學校申請清寒健保之僑港澳生，經僑委會審核通過後每月健保費為新台幣413元。

Overseas Chinese students who have underprivileged certificate and apply for a reduction in NHI premiums：NT$413 per month(must be verified by OCAC).

三、健保卡 NHI Card

(一)、新生：由學校統一為同學辦理健保卡並追蹤健保狀況。

Freshman: the school will apply the NHI cards together and track the status. 

(二)、申請補發、更換健保卡的同學：請參閱健保卡更換&補發。

四、校外實習與工讀須知 Notices of Working Part-time and Interning Off-campus

(一)、同學於就學期間參加校外實習或工讀，每星期工讀時數在12小時以上，應由雇用單位投保。

►雇用單位投保後會從學校轉出，學校將於收到通知並確認轉出後統一辦理退費。

If working or interning off-campus more than 12 hours per week, the employer is responsible for enrolling the employee in the NHI.

►Being enrolled in NHI by the employer, the school will refund the NHI premiums together after notification.

(二)、若為3個月內的短期受僱，投保單位可維持投保在學校。

If the students employed for less than 3 months, the school can remain to be the students' NHI applicant.

(三)、若同學因實習或工讀從學校轉出，實習或工讀結束而需再重新於學校辦理加保時，請務必告知入學服務處以利辦理轉入。

When the part-time and interning is over, the students who have ever joined the NHI by the employer, it must inform to the Admission Office to enroll the NHI by school.

五、畢業後健保 After Graduation

畢業後欲留台的同學，須自行前往健保署或戶籍所在地(畢業後留台的居留證上的地址)區公所辦理健保加保。

After graduation, the students who choose to stay in Taiwan continuoesly must to go to the district office or National Health Insurance Administration to enroll the NHI.
